A lot of people are curious about what Freemasons do behind the front door of the Masonic Hall in Queensferry. The truth is that our front door is always open and welcomes those who may have an interest in becoming a Freemason or just want a question answered.

As a charitable organisation we welcome men of all ages, religions and backgrounds and when meeting us you will find a warm welcome from our open minded and community inspired members. One of the most famous quotes about Freemasonry is that we take good men and make them better men but in Lodge St Margaret we prefer to think that we give men an opportunity to develop friendships, develop themselves both personally and professionally and give them a chance to contribute to society.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month between September and April but life in the Ferry lodge extends beyond our formal evenings to relaxed social events, sporting activities, fundraising nights and family gatherings.
